John J. Hack

John is a Certified Public Accountant with 20 years experience in large regional accounting firms. John started his accounting practice in 1998 so he could concentrate on the tax and accounting issues of closely held companies.
In addition to providing traditional tax and accounting services, John also assists companies in the following financial areas:
- Purchase and sale of a business
- Controllership services for companies that are not large enough to afford a full-time Chief Financial Officer
- Tax audits and tax litigation
- Tax research in areas such as federal income tax, Wisconsin income tax and
Wisconsin sales tax.
- Business planning and budgeting
John received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. John also supports other local small businesses as a member of the Wausau Area Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Committee.

Melissa A. Dettmering

Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant who joined Hack CPA, S.C. in August 2002 and has worked in public accounting for over 10 years. She uses a hands-on approach to assisting small businesses with accounting, tax and other financial issues. Melissa utilizes her previous cost accounting experience within the manufacturing sector to work with companies representing a wide range of industries. Melissa also consults with businesses on the set-up and administration of accounting software systems. She currently supports use of QuickBooks, Peachtree and MYOB accounting packages. In addition, Melissa has worked to expand the services provided by Hack CPA, S.C. to include those for estates and trusts.
Melissa is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is active in community organizations including the United Way and the West Side Business Association. She received her Bachelor of Science with a double major in Accounting and Business-Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Terry F. Anderson

Terry is a Certified Public Accountant who joined Hack CPA, S.C. in November 2003. He brought with him over 25 years experience in the accounting industry including, 10 years as an audit manager in a large regional firm and 15 years as a Controller in the private sector. Terry specializes in the audit and review of financial statements for non-profit and private sector companies.
Terry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Tricia C. Nielsen

Tricia is a Certified Public Accountant with 9 years of public accounting experience. She began her career with one of the state's largest regional firms, and joined Hack CPA, S.C. in February 2003. Tricia focuses on the complex tax structures of parterships and S-Corporations. In addition she provides individual tax and financial services. She aims to provide her clients an individual level of service to suit each business's different needs. This approach extends to aiding business in the research, implementation and use of computerized accounting software. Tricia currently supports Peachtree and QuickBooks accounting software.
Tricia is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She participates on various committees throught the WICPA and is a 2010 committee member for the Wausau Area Chamber of Commerce's KNOW group. Tricia received her Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting from Upper Iowa University. She passed the CPA exam in December 2006, and received her Certified Public Accountant license in January 2007.
Debra A. Sibley

Deb is a staff accountant at Hack CPA, S.C.. She started with the firm as an accounting intern in November 2006 and joined the staff full time as a staff accountant in July 2008. Deb provides accounting, payroll and tax services to small businesses.
Deb has an Associates degree in marketing from Moraine Park Technical College. In June 2008 she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Upper Iowa University. In addition to working full-time with Hack CPA, S.C., Deb attends Upper Iowa University and is studying for a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She is also preparing to sit for the Wisconsin CPA exam.
